# Infinite Resume — Resume Doctor > Canonical page: https://www.infiniteresume.com/resume-check > Checked: 2026-09-22 Resume Doctor evaluates practical resume-quality signals: completeness, clarity, brevity, impact, keyword alignment, and common document-parsing risks. It gives users findings and suggested changes to review. It does not claim private access to or reproduction of proprietary employer ATS ranking algorithms. ## Current access and costs | Operation | Infinite Free access | Credit overflow or direct cost | |:---|:---|---:| | Quick Scan | 1 per rolling day | 5 credits | | Deep Scan | Credit based | 10 credits | | Apply accepted fixes | Credit based | 2 credits | | Refine one suggested fix | Credit based | 1 credit | Infinite Free receives 10 promotional AI credits every 30 days. Those promotional credits do not roll over. Credit packs start at 50 credits, paid credits remain valid for 12 months, and the price is localized from the billing quote service. ## What it checks - Resume completeness and section structure - Clarity, brevity, and action-oriented writing - Evidence of impact and measurable outcomes - Keyword alignment with the user-provided target role - Common parsing risks such as nonstandard headings or difficult-to-extract text ## What the report returns, by tier Quick Scan runs on the free daily allowance and needs no account. Deep Scan spends credits and adds the rest. Field names are those of the shipped response contract. | Returned | Tier | What it measures | |:---|:---|:---| | Overall health score | Quick Scan | One number for the whole document with a written summary of why it landed there | | Impact | Quick Scan | Whether bullets report outcomes or list duties — quantified results, ownership, action verbs | | Brevity | Quick Scan | Sentence length, filler, repetition and page density | | Readability and style | Quick Scan | Clarity and consistency; confusing constructions and passive voice | | Section-by-section breakdown | Quick Scan | Each section scored separately, with its specific issues and a suggested fix per issue | | Missing keywords | Quick Scan | Terms the resume does not evidence; drawn from a supplied job description when one is given | | ATS readiness | Deep Scan | Structural parsing risk: unclear labels, formatting that breaks text extraction | | Completeness | Deep Scan | Whether contact details, dates, role titles and education are present and usable | | Role alignment | Deep Scan | Each posting requirement marked strong, partial or not evidenced, with supporting lines | | Prioritised fix list | Deep Scan | Findings ordered by what to do first, each with evidence, rationale, confidence and effort | Deep Scan sorts findings into six categories: submission blocker, job alignment, evidence and impact, recruiter clarity, ATS readability, and polish. ## What the report will not tell you - It cannot tell you whether a specific company's ATS will accept a resume. Employer systems are private and configured per company and often per role. - A high score is not an interview. It means the document is clearer and better aligned with common quality signals than it was. - It scores the resume supplied. It cannot verify that the resume's contents are true, and it does not invent achievements. - The score is directional. A move from 60 to 80 is evidence the writing improved, not a probability of any outcome. ## Important boundary A score is diagnostic guidance, not an outcome prediction. ATS products and employer configurations differ, so Infinite Resume does not guarantee a particular score, ranking, interview, or job result. ## Related canonical pages - Product comparison: https://www.infiniteresume.com/compare - Pricing and credits: https://www.infiniteresume.com/pricing - Resume scoring methodology: https://www.infiniteresume.com/methodology/resume-scoring - ATS testing methodology: https://www.infiniteresume.com/methodology/ats-testing
